Harbor View

This was a fantastic place to spend a week off! My kids and I had a blast walking to the beach and town. We felt safe and so comfortable. The house was perfect for us, very clean and the household items were really nice and unexpected. Bedding was nice and clean, linens and lots of towels, wash cloths available. I will say, we were a little bummed bc the listing said outside amenities were: boat/canoe/kayak/bicycles/golf. I assumed those were included however I did not inquire before hand so that is my fault. However those items have to be rented elsewhere. There was a singular bicycle hanging in basement. It did not make our time bad by any means, just had some disappointed kids. There was many outdoor games, lawn chairs, a wagon to use and really anything else we could have wanted for the beach! The outside is lovely with many flowers and herbs growing and tomatoes too. We were able to take advantage of those if we wished. Overall, we had the best time and made wonderful memories and would surely rent this home again!

We've been coming to South Haven for nine years, but this was our first time renting directly from Big Blue Rentals, and it could not have come at a more meaningful moment. We arrived just a couple of months after losing my father...our first vacation without him. Our emotions were still so raw, and I honestly wasn't sure what to expect from the week. Mandy and I had been talking for several weeks leading up to the trip, getting everything arranged, but we had never actually met until that Saturday when we arrived. From the moment we did, she treated us like she had known us for years. I cannot fully put into words what she did for my family on this trip. Without going into detail, I'll just say she went so far above and beyond that it brought us to tears, in the best way. She found ways to help us feel my dad's presence with us, even though he couldn't physically be there, and that is a gift I will never forget. Mandy's kindness, generosity, and compassion were unlike anything I have ever experienced from someone I had just met. She treated my family, especially my mom, with such warmth and care. In a moment when we needed gentleness more than anything, she gave it freely and from the heart. To call our experience exceptional feels like an understatement. Everything about Big Blue Rentals exceeded our expectations, but it was Mandy who turned this trip into something we will carry with us forever. If you're looking for a rental company that treats you like family, this is it. Thank you, Mandy, and thank you, Big Blue Rentals, for giving my family something we didn't know we needed.

Lovely, quaint house with a good location.

Our stay at this beautiful riverfront home was absolutely fabulous. From the moment we arrived, we knew it would be a special place for our family vacation. The house was thoughtfully equipped, with everything we needed and more. Every detail was considered to make our stay comfortable and stress-free.The spacious interior made it easy for our whole family to spread out and relax. Whether we were sharing meals, lounging inside, or unwinding after a day out, there was plenty of room for everyone.One of our favorite spots was the deck overlooking the marina. The views were stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. It was the perfect place for morning coffee or evening cocktails while enjoying the peaceful setting.The location was great. It was close to everything we wanted to do, yet quiet and relaxing.Communication throughout the process was outstanding. From booking to check-out, everything was smooth. The hosts were responsive, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed.We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This home helped create wonderful memories for our family, and we would return without hesitation.
