We've been coming to South Haven for nine years, but this was our first time renting directly from Big Blue Rentals, and it could not have come at a more meaningful moment. We arrived just a couple of months after losing my father...our first vacation without him. Our emotions were still so raw, and I honestly wasn't sure what to expect from the week. Mandy and I had been talking for several weeks leading up to the trip, getting everything arranged, but we had never actually met until that Saturday when we arrived. From the moment we did, she treated us like she had known us for years. I cannot fully put into words what she did for my family on this trip. Without going into detail, I'll just say she went so far above and beyond that it brought us to tears, in the best way. She found ways to help us feel my dad's presence with us, even though he couldn't physically be there, and that is a gift I will never forget. Mandy's kindness, generosity, and compassion were unlike anything I have ever experienced from someone I had just met. She treated my family, especially my mom, with such warmth and care. In a moment when we needed gentleness more than anything, she gave it freely and from the heart. To call our experience exceptional feels like an understatement. Everything about Big Blue Rentals exceeded our expectations, but it was Mandy who turned this trip into something we will carry with us forever.
